What, Why and How : Dalam Bacaan OYBR hari ini, aku belajar mengenai kekuatan dari Firman Tuhan dan dampak yang sangat besar dari Kesetiaan.
Kita melihat sendiri bagaiamana jika tidak adanya Respon yang baik, Kesetiaan, Iman atau dan Ketekunan (obedience) yang begitu besar kepada Tuhan dari seorang Maria dan saudaranya Elisabet (yang sudah tua secara fisik untuk bisa hamil) , Mungkin kita tidak akan bisa mengalami Tuhan seperti sekarang ini karena dari respon dan diri mereka berdua, mereka bisa dipakai Tuhan untuk proses kelahiran Tuhan Yesus dan Yohanes Pembabtis yang membaptis begitu banyak orang termasuk Yesus sendiri.
Arti nama Elizabeth dan suaminya Zachariah dalam bahasa Ibrani adalah :
Zechariah : God remember (remembered by Jehovah) sementara Elizabeth: His (God) vows
Jadi, combined nama kedua org suami istri itu “God remembers His promises/vows”
A reminder today that no matter what you’ve been through, God remembers His promises/vows in your life and He who begins a good work in you is faithful and will finish it. Trust and Have Faith in God!
