“It is more blessed to give than receive”.
As a Believer, we surely know this verse and understand that God is The Giver of every good and perfect gift. As His image-bearers, we are called to follow and copy His giving, to be the mini-pictures of His infinitely large heart in our daily life.
2 days ago, I just received a sad update from Boby Hartanto, a friend of mine who designed this blog and whom I met during my COC ministry. Boby’s brother, Andika Hartawan is currently very sick and undergoing a chemotherapy treatment for a Lymphoma cancer. His treatment will require a relocation to Malaysia for several months so he can be close to the hospital, get daily treatments and recover under the watchful eye of his care team.
During this time he will be unable to work at his normal capacity. Furthermore, the family began to run out of funds to pay the hospital bills as the insurance claim is far from enough. Their families have been trying to find another loan options but the funds collected are far from enough.
